The Result

The decision has been made and the die for my future has been recast. While the result is not yet guaranteed, it is almost certain. We have to wait three weeks before we will see for sure. I am confident in the decision and cannot wait to see where it takes me in life.

It's exciting for sure, to be on the edge of the unknown. I have always been one to embrace change and attempt to understand anything I do not comprehend. Therefore the unknown is exciting and not frightening as it is to some. The vast amount of new experiences and situations will be interesting to say the least.

This is where life truly begins...

Overtones

Some people that have failed in a given task or situation will tell you it is a mistake and not to bother. But as we all know, experience is the only real teacher. It is the reason history so often repeats itself. We do not like to believe that we can or cannot do something until we have tried it ourselves. You could call it stubborn and counter-productive but it's inexplicably tied to the way we learn and develop. It is this that pushes us forward, to better our lives and the lives of those around us.

I feel soon I will be venturing into a very new part of my life where mistakes can and will be made. Hopefully I am able to learn from them and use them to better the situation. There is no faster route to failure then letting valuable lessons go unlearned.

It is our mistakes that shape who we are as people more than anything else.
